Werner Headquarters - Omaha, Nebraska. This is clearly a high-investment facility designed with driver comfort in mind. The campus spans multiple buildings, including a dedicated training center and a multi-story main hub. The amenities are comprehensive, featuring a massive gym, laundry center, and extensive leisure spaces ranging from a mini library to an arcade and TV lounge. Practical conveniences include a well-stocked kitchen area, a quiet lounge, dozens of showers, and a running track. Parking is also well-managed, with ample bobtail spaces on-site and a large trailer lot nearby.
Drivers are waiting in line this morning to fuel, yet this “driver” can’t take 20 seconds to pull forward off of the pump while he goes inside to finish his break. I fueled beside him and he was still there after I finished fueling, pulled forward, went in and got coffee, and he was still there after I was driving away from the Loves. Absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful, not to mention just downright lazy.
I want to start off by saying this company doesn't deserve me to come on board as a truck driver. To all the people looking to obtain their CDL I hope that my review will help you on your journey. DO NOT go to Roadmasters for your CDL. They will charge you $8000 plus interest and you will be stuck with a positon you hate. Plus, you need more than the 4 weeks they offer to prepare you to be a truck driver. Instead look into Southeast Community College in Milford Nebraska. The course is 10 weeks long, Its $1200 and you can apply for assistance and scholarships like I did through Nebraska Trucking Association. They paid for my training and it cost me $0. SCC was amazing. The instructors were amazing. Roadmasters partners with Werner Enterprises and these mega carriers don't have the truck drivers best interest in mind. Instead look for a private, family owned fleet that focuses more on the employee plus, the pay is better. I've put in the leg work and research to make sure my first position was going to be with a company I can grow with and that values my knowledge and background. I hope this review finds all of you well. Don't sell yourself short.
Used to be a good brokerage company through years but just delivered the last load for them and has been sent to a missed appt. When asked for help had no email answered for 3 hours, then called numerous times asking for help and the person who is in charge of that load couldnt be reached and call cant be transfered to her, looks familiar when sent on a missed appt? Aaand we finally have ANDREW FILIPOS added to email conversation saying they have rescheduled the appt for next morning, without even asking us if we could do it. We asked for $800 for layover, he said its a high number but promised that we will work something out even if its have to be out of his pocket. Of course, next day they added $150 as a standard layover and never answered the emails anymore. Definitely unpleasant surprise as I booked hundreds of loads with Werner through the years but so far this company is not the one of those you should trust anymore.
