Probably the most kind person I’ve met ever just delivered me the best news! I want to give my thanks to Dustin Robert from the student loan department. I’ve been calling them for the past week and for some reason I was put into voicemail every time after having to wait on hold for 20min each time (I called at 10am) no one would get back to me either. Today Dustin reached out to me to let me know my loan has been paid in full in the kindest way possible. I was expecting 3k more to pay but this is the best news I’ve heard all year!! Our truck was struck by a driver from Swift, and it has been more than two weeks without any proper response from their claims department. We have tried multiple times to contact the adjuster, Venecia, but have not been able to speak with her even once. Every time we call customer service, we receive the same response with no real assistance, and the calls often feel rushed or dismissed. This lack of communication and support is extremely disappointing, especially after an accident that requires timely handling. We expect better professionalism and responsiveness in situations like this.
Called in about a driver that was threatening and harassing me with the lot lizard he had in his truck and instead of caring for my safety and investigating, told me that without a truck number, my complaint was worthless and they weren't even going to look into it. Women: stay away from these drivers. They're unsafe and unstable and the company doesn't care for YOUR safety.
First time here. Very overwhelming. Didn’t know I had to go through an inspection, there’s no sign for empty dry van parking, nothing that says there’s a pet holding area, no signage for showers and the driver resource person is not in building 8. Shop staff are exceptional and truck wash is not for drivers. Nice tv room but too many people snoring. Cafe is the place to hang out and watch tv.
Best Terminal hands down. I started training at Swift in October, got my permit; then my license. Did training with a mentor and now I'm OTR. The one and only thing I requested was to keep me out of SOCAL and everything would be fine. And it has been. I get paid on time every time. Because of the winter storms and closures I'm only getting about 1500-2000 miles a week. I'm not being worked to death, it's pretty easy going. Your first few weeks you'll be a nervous wreck but it'll calm down. Just get the following numbers. Driver Leader # (goes to another DL when yours is away) On-Road # for any breakdowns,etc. CSR # (customer service if you have any problems like a shipper not having a BOL) Do your pretrip and post trip. The company will reimburse things you need to maintain the truck like oil, windshield washer fluid, they also reimburse scale tickets when you weigh at a truck stop. Make sure your truck is good to go when you get the keys! Mine had low air in the drive tires and loose valve stems. Your truck is your 2nd home! Treat it good and it will treat you good! Also, I have seen so many filthy trucks that havent been washed in ages. Don't be one of those drivers; DOT loves to pick on dirty trucks!
