To start with the only reason I had any interaction at all with this god awful company was because I ordered a printer from Wisconsin. This freight company worked for one of their vendors in California. So the printer made it from California and sat for over a week in Birmingham. I had never ordered something this large before that needed to be shipped this way so I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. Well, after I kept checking the tracking and it had not budged. I called the number with the tracking information. A woman answered “oh yeh looks like this delivery needs to be scheduled.” So I set up the next day for it to be delivered with her. I look the next morning to make sure everything is in order yes it’s scheduled. Around noon the date scheduled was removed and the there was no information there any longer about the shipment. I called back and the woman gave me the number of where my printer was sitting. A guy answered and he looked up my shipment he said “oh yeh it’s lost… we are trying to locate it.” I called the company in Wisconsin they said this is nuts. They got me a printer from another vendor and their freight had the printer here in two days. I thought this it great everything is cleared up! Around 2-3 weeks later with no communication what so ever they had updated the shipping info and said the printer had been delivered today. What?!! Oh yes. They never let anyone know what was going on never informed me that they were delivering anything just came by and dropped it off. We have had this “lost printer” sitting in our shop for 3 weeks now and can’t get the freight company Saia that delivered it to come back and get it!?! They said they would pick it up Wednesday and never showed. They said they would pick it up Thursday and never showed. They are supposed to be picking it up today but I have little no faith that is going to happen. The ATL freight customer service folks had been updating me on when it would be picked up and some lady had the nerve to say “there may be some miscommunication between the customer(me) and the vendor.” No ma’am I’ve not had ANY communication what so ever with the freight company. The latest update was well “they said it was too far out to get”. Unbelievable I’ve never had anything like this happen before and it’s just insane. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS FREIGHT COMPANY! Horrible customer service!

OMG! This is the worst service. If I could give zero stars, I would. I bought a desk, which included delivery and installation. The delivery people, Saia, wanted us to meet them at the gas station to pick up my uninstalled desk (about 1mile from my home), which meant I would have to find (pay) someone with a truck that could pick it up. Then I would have to leave it outside (d\t home renovation) until the installation people (SPAR) could come and install it about 5 days later. Of course, they are calling for rain. Saia was unsympathetic and uncompromising. This is no way to do business. I was not informed by any of these intities to anticipate this problem. In fact, I assumed that the delivery people would also be the ones to install. Office Max should have informed me; that was their bad. Otherwise, they were nice and apologetic. So was SPAR. But Saia was pathetic. The first problem was poor communication. The second problem was in having fragmented service. The third problem was in SAIA treating a paying customer so poorly - totally unacceptable.

I have been working with SAIA at the service terminal near 30143, we are regular shippers of freight for the solar industry. Wow! What service Brooke has to offer! Also, dealt with Nina though I don’t know where she was located and she was just as amazing. SAIA saw the human aspect of an unusual situation I dealt with and adjusted rates accordingly. It isn’t often that you find that virtue anymore. I hired SAIA through TQL (3rd Party Logistics) and they have been absolutely horrible to deal with. I feel that some 3PL services ruin the the ideals behind the actual trucking companies themselves. Always remember that if you go with any 3PL that their values may not equal the values of the truck companies themselves. I had to drop TQL due to their lack of advocacy and service. Considering contracting direct with SAIA due to their amazing customer capabilities. Thanks SAIA team! You all really saved the day! My battle still lingers with TQL, but at least I know you all did absolutely everything you could to help!

They have lost my $4000 medical device that was supposed to be delivered to my house TWICE. DO NOT USE THIS SHIPPING COMPANY. They found it but they still shouldn't have lost it twice.

If i could leave 0 stars I would. Please use another carrier to ship your item! On our bill but I was quoted $1733 with a delivery date of 8/29. It didnt get delivered until 9/3. We didn’t use a liftgate at pickup nor delivery and I didn’t check that box for liftgate but was charged for it. I was told pickup for our tiller would be after 3 pm and they showed up at 1 with no call ahead of time. We loaded it straight on his truck and they charged us a wait fee even though they showed up 2 hours early with no call. The only extra thing I added was the excessive length because it was over 96". We were also charged a weight and research charge of $350 for just 100 lb difference "supposedly". Even though when i typed the weight they had into a quote it should have only been about $100 more. They just price gouge you and then expect you just to pay it. I cannot file a dispute because i dont have a pro account and never will.
