I wonder how many people know what a key role Conan plays in the process of doing something as seemingly simple as sending personal belongings to the mainland. I am 83 years old and could likely have never completed this daunting task without Conan’s expertise. Here is the rough sequence of events that, due to your professionalism, I doubt I could have managed alone: Finalize arrangements with Matson and pay them in full. Make final flight arrangements and purchase tickets. Finalize a place to stay on the mainland while goods are in transit and a new address is established. Establish payment and obtain cash and arrival date for Conan driver. Locate and pay trucking co in Oakland to pick up goods. Find and pay a moving co to retrieve goods from Oakland trucking yard and forward to new mainland address. Sell and deliver my only car. Allow landlord to re-rent my current living space to new tenants on Feb 1st. These are just a few of the critical pieces that are solely dependent on Conan’s “linchpin role” in completing such a life-changing puzzle. And, through it all, your Conan representative, in this case Priscilla, is the unquestionable quarterback! Conens Freight Hilo, was hired to transport my $26,000 Quonset hut. Initially I was told by Nicole, a representative of Conens Freight that I would be given notice prior to scheduled delivery date. Problems incurred in dealing with Conens Freight: Neglected to notify me of shipment delivery. On one of my numerous phone calls trying to confirm a delivery date I was told the shipment is being delivered that day. With such short notice I had to make arrangements for my business, contact two individuals I had hired to assist with the unloading and rush to the location about an hour drive away. After rushing to the location I waited until 3pm along with the 2-individuals I hired for the delivery driver to arrive. Using a forklift to move the pallet from the truck to the site the pallet fell off the forklift and landed on its side. Major damage to one of the panels was obvious. At that point the driver should have contacted the office, but instead he wanted me to sign a release that the shipment was received, then rushed off site. I did note on the form I signed that it fell off the forklift causing damage to my shipment. As requested I submitted photos to Eula in the claims department showing the forklift driver, the pallet dropped on its side and the damage caused. I was told I would have to pay for delivery prior to any claim being filed. After paying for delivery, submitting the photos and filing a claim no one from Conens Freight will respond to my calls regarding the status of that claim caused by their forklift drivers negligence. I feel as if I am being ghosted.

Conens has recently delivered two pieces of heavy equipment to us and each time it was done quickly...very professionally and without disrupting traffic...these guys are the Pros..

Conen truck came up Kulaloa road Saturday the 13th. In the process of turning around drove onto the shoulder and left 2 massive ruts. Left without making any effort to fix them. This is a narrow private road and the truck trailer was far too large for the road. Very unprofessional to leave such damage and then run off.

Couldn’t be happier! Smooth operator, Austin deserves a promotion, very professional, personable, and skilled, even in tight quarters. Great experience with the entire company to have our container delivered. Excellent communication and check ins days prior, and by the team and driver/operator on delivery day. Went above and beyond with great advice and will be happy to give them my business again soon!
