I've been anxiously awaiting a delivery, I got notification that it had been delivered! I got home and I was absolutely seeing red because this thing was not there it was not at my house until I went all the way down behind my house and there it was! So I don't know who delivered today at my place but that dude is awesome! My package that was on skid, got put all the way around behind my house I had no expectation that they were going to do that whatsoever and I really genuinely appreciate it. Because it's kind of a high-dollar thing that I didn't really want sitting out of my front yard and that's what I expected it to be. So I really appreciate that guy, or gal, taking the extra minute to think about what they were doing where they should put it and and just generally going what I consider above and beyond because most people don't do that. I don't know who you are but I appreciate you

I wish I could give them negative stars, or at least send them an invoice for the time I wasted waiting around for them today. Yesterday I received a call that they would be delivering my oversized shipment today between the hours of 1pm and 4pm. After waiting around for 3 hours I call them requesting an update only for them to tell me their delivery driver never showed up so no deliveries went out today. AMAZING IM SO HAPPY THEY NEVER CALLED TO UPDATE ME THAT THEY WERENT COMING!! She proceeded to ask me if I’d be available tomorrow between 1pm and 4pm - I say “how do I know that the delivery driver will show up and make the round” she says !!!! Well you can just call us in the morning and we’ll let you know if he shows up. Wonderful let me set an alarm to call you guys and ask if anyone from R&L will be doing their job today. So excited for my delivery tomorrow.

If you have a third party willing to accept any and all secondary liabilities connected to the ineptitude of this company then by all means utilize them. If you have a choice go elsewhere. Communication is poor. Scheduling is beyond unreliable. Customer service might as well be non-existent. They are likely the cheapest, it shows. As a consumer not choosing my shipper, I have had to accept packages from them twice. The first time they gave no updates and failed to deliver three days in a row. I ended up renting a U-Haul and getting the property myself. Thankfully the party that contracted them refunded hundreds in equipment costs while I was waiting, and discounted the real volume cost for my inconvenience. On the second occasion the delivery (which was a 5 hour window of their choosing) never arrived and I had to take an additional day off work to accept. Wouldn’t recommend under any circumstances. My Amazon delivery came via R&L Carriers. Steven was amazing! I had about 1000 pounds of recycled tire curbing on 2 pallets. One pallet was broken and hard to deal with. He was a real trooper and flipped it end over end to get it onto my front porch. He also helped me empty out the larger box of curbing to get it out of my driveway. Hurray for Steven!!!

Five stars only because the driver in Johnstown, Alec, personally made sure that I had a great experience. I hope that his supervisor sees this because he deserves to be recognized for exceptional customer service.
