One of their drivers passed us doing the speed limit. He had a wide load speeding and passing traffic. Others had to pull to shoulder of the highway to get out of his way. His truck was in his own lane but not his load.
Not a pleasant experience behind two today between Palestine and Frankston Texas. The half a mobile home in the back was in one lane then in the middle looks like the driver wasn't sure where he wanted to be. The one in front did better staying in the right lane except when needing to move for the reason needed. The back one was all over, was surprised there was no escort for something like that. First time I'd seen something like that. I hope and pray that was an once in a lifetime incident to be behind
Working with Pam Rogers has been one of the most frustrating experiences we've had in this industry. She filed a FreightGuard report against our company simply because we had temporary issues completing a setup – on a Saturday – when most ELD verification departments are closed or unreachable. I was actively on hold trying to complete the final steps when she jumped to file a negative report, showing zero patience or understanding of how logistics actually work. The setup was almost entirely complete, and I have time-stamped proof to back that up. This was not a refusal, not a failure to communicate, and certainly not a valid reason to damage a carrier's reputation. Pam seems more suited for a desk job in a quiet office than the fast-paced, often chaotic world of freight. If you're going to survive in this industry, you need thicker skin and a grasp of real-world conditions – not a trigger finger for FreightGuard. Her actions were premature, unprofessional, and completely unrealistic. Avoid working with this broker if you value fairness, communication, and professionalism.
Extremely unprofessional experience. I attempted to communicate with this broker multiple times and was repeatedly hung up on without explanation. When I called back from a different number, he answered — only to claim the load had been “taken care of.” When I calmly addressed the earlier behavior, he hung up again. This type of conduct is unacceptable in this industry. I’ve already filed formal complaints with the appropriate agencies and informed my carrier network. If this is how they treat potential partners, I strongly advise others to be cautious. We all work hard in this business — mutual respect should be the bare minimum.
I love my dad's work cause I'm in the church. With him right now, and we are going to Laredo, Texas to go drop a boat off. It is fun going through all of these cool states. Because I can decease to have never seen before.
