Duke Energy wrongfully shut off my electric service due to their own error. When I contacted customer service, I received multiple conflicting explanations from different representatives, with no clear accountability or resolution. Essential services should not be disrupted because of company mistakes. This experience was stressful, unacceptable, and avoidable.
