I love this place It has given my children so many wonderful memories. Being able to ride horses and interact with them on such a level is a wonderful thing 💗💯. Being out in nature like this is really good for both my autistic children it helps ground them. My daughter shot her very first bullseye here. My youngest is looking forward to coming here next year. It's a rite of passage in our family to come here.
Butte Creek Scout Ranch offers an Old West Summer Camp experience for Cub Scouts that is beyond description. From the moment you step out of your car you step back in time. Days at Butte Creek are filled with horse rides, panning for gold, pioneering activities, Western music, and surprisingly delicious meals.
My daughter has fun last year but not as much fun as the year before, she really missed being with her pack, and having her friends. I worry about this year since I will have a lion and bear id really like to stay with our packs again.
Butte Creek is a beautiful place for Scouts to camp. They have horses and short treks. And they hold Wood Badge training here.
WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! The staff, Wranglers, and admins were all amazing and friendly people. My family was there from AUG 2nd to the 5th and had an very memorable experience. The food was good and accommodations were great everywhere thru the whole ranch. My son is a Tiger Cub Scout and this was his first scout camp ever. The knowledge, Respect, and Values that was shown to him thru out our time there was amazing. The events and set up they had for these kids worked very well. Every day was busy and action packed. We cannot wait to come back next year as well as enroll in the Buckaroo program they offer! I cant think them enough!
