If it were possible to leave a 100-star review, that’s exactly what Daryl and the Brackettry LLC crew would be getting from me. This was hands down the best home remodeling experience I’ve ever had, and honestly it almost made me want to start another project just so the team could come back. Our remodel was no small task; it was an entire kitchen and living room remodel. What started as a construction project ended up being a complete transformation of my home. Daryl didn’t just remodel the space, he made it look like a house straight out of a magazine. From day one, Daryl and his team displayed an extraordinary level of meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail, setting a standard of excellence throughout the entire project. Every cut, every measurement, and every finish was done with precision. Daryl also consistently looked out for us as homeowners, recommending quality materials and making sure everything was done the right way — not the classic contractor method of “good enough, you’ll never notice.” If Daryl could see any little imperfections, it gets redone immediately. Communication was outstanding. Daryl kept us updated every single day so we always knew what was happening and what was coming next. There were no mysterious disappearances, no “we’ll be back sometime next week,” no crews that vanish for two weeks because they started another job, and no guessing games about progress. At no point did I feel like I needed to install security cameras to make sure someone wasn’t cutting corners, installing the wrong materials, or “accidentally” forgetting something important behind the walls. They even took care of the dog for me and quickly made friends with her — which might be the ultimate contractor review category. If my dog trusts you, you’re doing something right. And to make the whole experience even better, the team brought a positive and humorous attitude to the job every day. Remodeling can be stressful, but somehow they made the process enjoyable. Instead of the usual contractor drama, missed calls, vague timelines, and explanations that somehow make less sense the longer they go on, everything was straightforward, honest, and professional. Here’s the part that really surprised me: the cost of the entire remodel came in far less than four other quotes we received. So not only did we get incredible craftsmanship, but we got it at a price that beat everyone else. Honest man doing honest services. Daryl and Brackettry LLC didn’t just complete a project, they completely changed my home and exceeded every expectation I had. Brackettry, Llc remodeled our kitchen. As an avid home cook and baker, I really feel like Daryl and his crew listened to the specific requests that I wanted (ie installing a smart sink and venting our stove hood outside) and they didn't try to pressure me into things I didn't really want, which was something other companies we considered tried. Brackettry worked with us through the surprises that happen with all remodels and had solutions for the unexpected that really enhanced the beauty of the final product and showed their breadth of experience. The crew spent time at the conclusion of every work day to make sure our space was as liveable as possible and I feel like they took extra care to make sure that my daughter who uses a wheelchair had space to move about comfortably.
Hands down you can't find a finer construction company than Brackettry Custom Homes. We hired Daryl to renovate our master bedroom, bathroom and laundry area. He took an old cramped space and turned it into a beautiful living space and small home office. The project entailed taking down four cinder block walls and building fresh new framed exterior walls. Daryl was an absolute pleasure to work with, he kept constant communications and he completed the project in the time frame he estimated. We already have plans for him to do future work on our home. Daryl and his crew were phenomenal! They transformed our dungeon of an unfinished basement into a beautiful living space with a full bathroom added in. They also replaced all of our doors as well as repaired and refaced our bay windows and around the garage doors. They worked quick and efficiently within the promised time frame. The communication from Daryl was outstanding, he was always keeping us updated on what to expect/ what the next steps were throughout the whole renovation. He is very knowledgeable and was so helpful with recommendations on which products were best to use. They were very respectful and trustworthy. I never felt uncomfortable having them in my home, even if we weren’t there. They showed up and worked everyday we were told they would be here from early morning to late afternoon. We hired Daryl to build a new composite floor deck off our house in 2021. We absolutely love the deck! We will go directly to Daryl for future fabrication projects because of his honest pricing, integrity, and the quality of his work. He likely won’t be the cheapest quote you receive, but you get what you pay for. Daryl goes above and beyond regulations to build a safe product that will last with room for future growth. He handled everything from start to finish and was very open in communication with us. Overall a great experience working with him.
